Music Machine 34

Music Machine 34 was written for A Quiet Night In and first performed by Simon Belshaw (midi wind controller), Emma Welton (double bass) and Tony Whitehead (melodica).

It has had a number of performances since then with a variety of instrumentation.

Arrangments have included for midi wind controller, violin and flute and for midi wind controller and 2 violas.

It was performed as part of Exposure Exeter for Radio 3's Late Junction programme in 2017.

The score is split into three parts. The lower part is for midi wind controller that is played through a

Raspberry Pi computer to produce the chords that are shown on the score.

The single notes in brackets are the notes that are fingered on the wind controller.
