Music Machine 28

Music Machine 28 is intended for live performance and uses a Casio digital horn and raspberry pi.

The raspberry pi runs two programmes in this live machine.
The first programme tells the performer which note to play and for how long to play it.
The second programme plays back prerecorded clips of each note. The computer chooses the notes and for how long to sound them.
For the first minute of the piece the computer remains silent but as the piece progresses more clips are played at shorter intervals.

The live premiere of this piece was on 30th June 2013 at the
Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter
as part of the NonClassical event.
